Nairobi, Kenya: Leading fashion retail brand LC Waikiki celebrated its 5th anniversary in Kenya with a new season launch at their flagship store in Two Rivers Mall. 

The event also commemorated LC Waikiki’s success in the Sub-Saharan African Market, in line with its mission – Everyone Deserves to Dress Well. 

For the first time in Nairobi, the retail brand celebrated the launch of its brand new season with 9 stores currently open in Kenya. The launch of the Kenya Season is a testament to the success the brand is enjoying in the African Market.

The retail giant has continued its operations globally with almost 1200 stores in 54 countries, 347 different cities on 4 continents, and more than 56,000 employees.

LC Waikiki Country Manager Sevda Bilen said Kenya is an important investment area of the African region and they now have 9 stores in 4 different cities in the country; Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, and Nakuru.

“We want to reach 14 stores by the end of the year. We have a big family in Kenya with our 300 employees. Currently, we are the market leader in the 22 countries that we are in and we are so proud of being the market leader in Kenya too, and we want to thank all our customers for choosing us. Our target for 2022 is to have stores in 5 different cities. We also want to open our second store in Mombasa.”

Bilen added that the clothing company is also operating in Uganda and Zambia. 

“In August, we are planning to open our first store in Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia. Our goal in 2023 is to reach approximately 43 million USD endorsement with our 22 stores in 4 countries. Also, we want to contribute to employment by reaching more than 600 employees.” He said.
